1. Overview
Sightkeep is provided by Xinogi and consists of two macOS applications, LiveFramePin and Tsumami UI. This policy explains what data is handled by those applications, our website, licensing, checkout, and support.
2. Screen content and local files
LiveFramePin's Live Pins and Source Pins process the screen regions you choose locally on your Mac. It does not automatically upload or share that screen content.
Snapshot Pin images and annotations may be stored in the application's Application Support folder so Restore Pins can restore them. Preferences and saved pin layouts may be stored in macOS user defaults.
Tsumami UI uses macOS Accessibility to read and change the position and size of windows. It does not use Screen Recording and does not read the contents of those windows.
3. License activation
Licenses are provided through Polar. One key covers both included applications. For activation and periodic validation, the application sends the following information to a Sightkeep license service operated by Xinogi on Cloudflare Workers:
- your Polar license key;
- a random, pseudonymous installation identifier generated for this Mac; and
- for validation, the Polar activation identifier.
The license service sends the license key, public product identifiers, a pseudonymous device label, a one-way pseudonymous device-binding value, and when applicable the activation identifier to Polar. It verifies the license and device binding and returns a signed entitlement that does not contain your purchase email or payment information. The raw pseudonymous installation identifier is not sent from the license service to Polar. When you deactivate this Mac, the app sends the license key, activation identifier, and public organization identifier directly to Polar.
The applications store the license key, activation identifier, validation timestamps, signed entitlement, and the random seed used to derive the pseudonymous installation identifier in the macOS Keychain for this device, and share that record between them so that one activation covers both. They do not store payment-card data or provider API secrets. Cloudflare may process network information such as your IP address and request metadata when operating the license service. 4. Optional voice input
If you choose voice input for LiveFramePin's text annotations, macOS requests microphone and speech-recognition permission. Audio is provided to Apple's Speech framework for transcription and may be sent to Apple's servers. We do not intentionally retain the audio; the resulting text may be saved as part of an annotation. 5. Purchases
Checkout, payment, tax, receipts, refunds, and order administration are handled by Polar as merchant of record and authorized reseller. Xinogi does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Polar's terms and privacy policy apply: Polar Buyer Terms.
6. Website and hosting
The website is hosted through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP address, request details, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Xinogi does not currently use its own advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site. A language preference may be stored locally in your browser.
7. Support communications
If you contact support, we use the information you provide to respond, diagnose the issue, prevent abuse, and maintain service records. Do not send payment-card details, your full license key, or private screen content unless support specifically explains why it is necessary. Support records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes and legal obligations.
8. Your choices
You can remove local snapshots and application data by deleting them from your Mac, subject to macOS behavior. You can deny or revoke Screen Recording, Accessibility, microphone, and speech-recognition permissions in macOS System Settings, although affected features will stop working. For requests concerning support or account data controlled by Xinogi, contact us below. Data controlled by Polar, Apple, or Cloudflare is subject to each provider's process.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date above identifies the current version.
